Employee Kitchen & Housekeeping As an employee in Kitchen and Housekeeping, you will further develop and shape the work- and participation-oriented learning area of Kitchen and Housekeeping together with the Person Responsible for Kitchen and Housekeeping and another support person. You accompany the young people in their daily work routine, mediate work and practical life skills, and promote their development with patience, clarity, and appreciation. You are ready to take on responsibility during holidays and absences and to competently represent the Person Responsible for Kitchen. Your tasks • Together with young adults, plan and prepare a second menu daily and provide pedagogical support for the work process • Guide and promote young adults in their daily work routine and enable them to participate and work independently • Plan and execute housekeeping work with the young adults - in particular laundry care, cleaning, order, as well as maintenance of the rooms • Mediate work and practical life skills and shape learning processes • Ensure work processes, hygiene, quality, and safety standards • Co-responsibility for the organization and smooth operation of the area • During holidays and absences, take over the deputy role for the Person Responsible for Kitchen • Work closely with the interdisciplinary team and actively contribute to the further development of the service and the young adults What you bring • Training as Koch:Köchin EFZ or experience in kitchen, gastronomy, or housekeeping - motivated career changers are very welcome • Joy in working with young adults with support needs • Serenity, humor, and the ability to empower and encourage young people • Independent and structured way of working • Joy in developing new things and shaping learning and development processes together We believe that development succeeds where young adults experience trust and are believed in, are allowed to help shape things, and can unfold their abilities.
