MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Our client, a multinational recognized in the medical field around Lausanne, is looking for its next maintenance technician. The position will be on an evening shift and with one week of night shift every 5 to 6 weeks. The Technician position consists of providing technical assistance in the areas of production, operations, maintenance, safety, and testing activities. This role involves working on electronic and mechanical systems, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance operations to ensure optimal performance as well as equipment reliability. The job holder must be able to interpret technical documentation, such as schematics, diagrams, and written instructions, and apply established procedures for data analysis and problem-solving. Main responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of production lines and industrial equipment. Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and replace defective components. Perform troubleshooting operations using standard electronic tools and technical documentation (plans, schematics, manuals, and specifications). Maintain maintenance records and intervention reports accurately and rigorously. Use a variety of hand tools, electrical tools, and testing equipment to carry out repairs and maintenance operations. Collect, compile, and process technical data by applying established formulas and procedures. Perform detailed technical calculations to support analysis and maintenance activities. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing process optimizations (depending on the level of experience).
