Junior DevOps Engineer - OpenShift Platform & Managed Services

Your future begins here # You have successfully completed your degree (EFZ) in computer science with a focus on platform development and are looking for a direct entry. In our team, you will develop step by step towards platform engineering and support the operation of our OpenShift platform. Together with experienced colleagues, you will operate a stable, secure and automated platform for our customers. Job Highlights • Direct entry after your degree (EFZ) in computer science • Participation in the further development and operation of the OpenShift platform and the platform services • Contribution to the construction, automation and monitoring of the platform • Collaboration in a motivated team with Product Owners and architecture specialists • Flexible working arrangements in Zürich and up to three days per week in the home office Your Skills - Technical • Degree (EFZ) in computer science; specialization in platform development, ideally at Swisscom • Initial experience with cloud and container technologies such as OpenShift and Kubernetes • Interest in platform operation, automation and stable deployments • Basic knowledge of system administration is an advantage Your Skills - Personal and Languages • Enjoyment of teamwork, exchange and continuous improvement • Reliable, structured, committed and communicative • You perform on-call duty and have your residence in Switzerland • Very good German and English; other national languages are an advantage With us, you have the opportunity to work in the office in Zürich and up to three days per week in the home office.
