Clinical and Research Data Manager in the Movement Disorders Unit - 50%

This department provides care to female and male patients of all ages, children and adults, suffering from neurosurgical, neurological, ophthalmological and oto-rhino-laryngological pathologies. Care is adapted to the needs and difficulties of the patient, from the most acute sectors (intermediate care units) to the rehabilitation sectors (neurorehabilitation). The neurology service provides diagnostic and therapeutic care for male and female patients suffering from a neurological condition, often in collaboration with other services such as neuroradiology, neurosurgery, neurorehabilitation and internal medicine specialty services. Attached to the neurology service, the movement disorders unit is currently developing several clinical and translational research programs focusing notably on Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, MRI-guided focused ultrasound, and neurophysiological biomarkers. Clinical and Research Data Manager in the Movement Disorders Unit - 50% You hold a cross-functional role essential to the development of the unit's academic and research activities. In this capacity, you are responsible for data extraction from electronic medical records, verify their accuracy by comparison with source documents and enter them into REDCap databases. Throughout the process, you perform quality control and check data consistency; you ensure follow-up and resolve missing data. You ensure the management, structuring and maintenance of data and/or clinical registries. You support the scientific team in the organization of studies, documentary follow-up, carrying out descriptive analyses, preparing digital supports and during the writing of reports, abstracts and publications. You ensure the coordination of research projects involving internal or external HUG collaborators. You are involved in the application of regulatory and ethical procedures. Qualifications You have academic training at Master's level in neuroscience, biomedical sciences, public health, epidemiology or an equivalent discipline. You have a perfect command of French, both spoken and written (minimum C1) and a proven writing ability. Experience in clinical database management or clinical research is an asset, as is experience with REDCap. Knowledge of descriptive statistics as well as proficiency in software such as R, SPSS or STATA is appreciated. You are a methodical, rigorous and organized person. You demonstrate discretion and strictly respect confidentiality in the handling of medical data. You are able to work independently, take initiative within your scope of responsibilities and manage your priorities effectively. You also appreciate collaborative work and actively contribute within a multidisciplinary team. You appreciate activities related to clinical research and/or neurological pathologies, as well as the management, follow-up and quality control of data.
