Head of Environment and Energy Department 80 - 100% # In this role, you assume overall responsibility for the Environment and Energy department - in terms of personnel, technical, and organizational aspects. You actively contribute to the sustainable development of Männedorf and effectively implement strategic themes. A versatile key position awaits you, with great autonomy, high visibility, and direct influence on the reduction of CO2 emissions in Männedorf. Your tasks: • You lead the Environment and Energy department in a targeted manner and develop your team • You shape the energy and climate future of the municipality (e.g., Ville de l'énergie label, energy fund) • You coordinate and steer the measures to achieve climate objectives as well as the climate strategy and support the implementation of measures • You initiate, lead, and accompany projects in the fields of environment, energy, and biodiversity • You advise the municipal council, the administration, and the population on environmental and energy issues • You visualize successes in terms of efficiency improvement, reduction of CO2 emissions, etc. in legible dashboards, accompanied by periodic reports on status and results • You ensure public relations in coordination with communication and politics • You represent the municipality in regional and cantonal specialized committees and networks • You actively contribute your expertise to projects and commissions • You work in close collaboration with internal departments and assume an important pivot function Your profile: • Training in the field of environment, energy, or construction (FH, HF, university or equivalent) • Diverse experience in project management as well as ideally initial leadership experience • Knowledge of environmental, energy, and construction legislation is an asset • Proficiency in Office 365, ideally also GIS applications • Great autonomy, sense of responsibility, and entrepreneurial spirit • Understanding of political decision-making processes and administrative procedures • Convincing communication skills as well as negotiation skills and a solution-oriented and implementation-oriented approach to work • Impeccable communication in German - adapted to all levels Your perspectives: • Responsible leadership position with a direct impact on municipal development • Exciting and meaningful working environment within a committed team • Modern employment conditions and flexible working models • Active support for professional and personal development Recruitment interviews: Due to the holiday period, interviews will begin in calendar week 35.
