Portrait of the school/institution ### The Primarschule Mattenstrasse is located in a former office building and is perfectly equipped for teaching with the Churer-Modell. Each classroom has appropriate furniture and its own group room. The Primarschule Mattenstrasse is part of the Schuleinheit Linde-Madretsch. At this location, we teach in extended cycles, i.e., the classes remain with the same class teacher from the 1st-3rd grade and from the 4th-6th grade. Our young faculty (the school has only existed for a few years) is motivated and committed. Exchange within the team takes place actively. Support for one another and mutual appreciation is high. Current topics We regularly conduct reflection talks with the school children. We rely on Nonviolent Communication. We accompany the trained school children on their way and promote the joint resolution of conflicts. The faculty also deals with the topic "New Authority". Presence is enormously important to us and is collectively supported by the team. We are looking for you: A class teacher for the school children of the 4th grade (workload up to 28 lessons) from February 2027 ### Primarschule Mattenstrasse 2504 Biel-Bienne Tasks ### You are the class teacher for the 4th grade and will represent the current class teacher during her educational leave. You will teach up to 26 lessons and lead the class with a 5% class teacher function and one additional lesson as a class teacher. Two school children are integrated into the class. A trained school special education teacher, a music teacher, and a part-time teacher (French and German as a second language) form the current class team and look forward to meeting you. You will work constructively with the class team and commit yourself to school operations. The job holder will take her leave until December 27. Afterwards, it would also be possible to continue working with us. Incoming applications will be processed. Requirements ### A Bachelor of Arts Primary Education, teaching diploma Cycle 2, or a corresponding education is desired. Team-oriented, committed teacher.
