Employee Mechanics Maintenance & Repair (m/f/d)

As a service provider for the Swiss meat industry, GZM Extraktionswerk AG in Lyss handles the disposal of Category K1 animal residues. In doing so, GZM creates an essential prerequisite for a regulated meat supply in Switzerland. Additionally, GZM fulfills a service mandate for the disposal of public animal carcass collection points from eleven cantons and large animal disposal in agriculture from five cantons. GZM belongs to the Centravo Holding AG. For our Technology & Maintenance department at the Lyss location, we are looking for you as an Employee Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair (m/f/d) starting immediately or by arrangement. Your main tasks: • Maintenance, repair, and service work on the machine park and infrastructure in the mechanical area • Preventive maintenance and renewal of the production plants • Disassembly and assembly of components such as containers, electric motors, gearboxes, lines etc. • General welding work for plant, metal, and pipe construction • Commissioning of controls, regulators etc., in the area of water, chemistry, and steam Our requirements: • Completed vocational training with EFZ as an agricultural mechanic, construction machinery mechanic, plant or apparatus builder, or similar training • Several years of professional and industrial experience • Good knowledge of welding work, pneumatics, and hydraulics as well as control technology • Independent, resilient, team-oriented personality with networked thinking • Clean and expeditious working style, organizational talent, and good physical fitness • Language: good German skills in speaking and writing • Readiness for on-call service and occasional maintenance and service work on Sundays and public holidays Online application: https://recruitingapp-3002.umantis.com/Vacancies/552/Application/CheckLogin/1?lang=ger&srcText=RAV
