At Sonova, we are looking for an experienced quality leader to take charge of and evolve our global Critical-to-Quality (CtQ) framework, ensuring that the product features most critical to customer satisfaction, reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance are integrated throughout the product lifecycle. Working with R&D, Manufacturing, Operations, Supplier Quality, and Service, you will establish global quality governance, drive end-to-end traceability, and contribute to shaping the development of innovative hearing solutions across the entire product lifecycle. More about the role • Take charge of and continuously evolve Sonova's global Critical-to-Quality (CtQ) framework, ensuring its implementation and effectiveness across the entire product lifecycle. • Establish and drive global CtQ governance, standards, and best practices across product development, manufacturing, and service. • Lead cross-functional CtQ reviews, aligning R&D, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Service around critical quality objectives. • Ensure end-to-end traceability of Critical-to-Quality attributes from design to manufacturing and service. • Integrate CtQ into key quality processes, including design, process, and service FMEAs as well as safety risk management. • Ensure that field performance, reliability, and customer feedback feed into CtQ to continuously improve product quality and future generations. • Drive the continuous improvement of CtQ methodologies, tools, and indicators. • Train stakeholders in the application of CtQ principles. More about you • A degree in engineering, quality, sciences, or another technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience. • Extensive experience in quality, product development, manufacturing, or operational excellence in a highly regulated industry, ideally medical devices, aerospace, or automotive. • Practical experience with the implementation of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and lean initiatives to improve overall product quality. • Solid knowledge of quality management system implementation, e.g., ISO 9001; experience with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and IEC 62304 is an advantage. • A history of driving cross-functional quality or continuous improvement initiatives and influencing stakeholders in complex and global organizations. • A curious, pragmatic, and entrepreneurial mindset, combined with excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills. • Fluency in English; German is a plus.
