Metallurgy Laboratory Technician (M/F)

• 17 juin 2026 • 100% • Indefinite duration • français (Native language) • Grand-Rue 6, 2732 Reconvilier • Se connecter pour voir l-estimation de salaire de jobup.ch Your mission: • Perform metallographic analyses and mechanical tests on various metallic materials • Perform hardness tests in accordance with current standards and procedures • Perform tensile tests and interpret results to verify the mechanical properties of materials • Prepare samples (cutting, mounting, polishing, chemical etching) • Perform conformity checks according to customer specifications and applicable standards • Analyze, interpret, and document test results in laboratory reports • Participate in investigations in case of non-conformity or material failure • Ensure first-level maintenance and metrological monitoring of laboratory equipment • Collaborate with production and quality teams for the continuous improvement of processes and products • Respect safety procedures and good laboratory practices Your professional skills: • CFC de laborantin(e), technicien(ne) ES, BTS/DUT, or training deemed equivalent in the field of materials, metallurgy, or chemistry • Experience in a metallurgical laboratory or a similar industrial environment • Knowledge of metallography, mechanical testing, and material analysis techniques • Mastery of common IT tools (MS Office) • Mastery of français (l-allemand and/or l-anglais would be a plus) Your personal and social skills: • Rigorous, analytical mind, and sense of organization • Ability to work autonomously while promoting collaboration within a team • Person of the field, pragmatic and methodical, able to withstand stressful situations • Writing skills We offer: Advantageous social conditions based on the MEM convention A multicultural and exciting working environment A challenge within a transforming SME
