HES Assistant

HES Assistant (CDD 3 years) Your activity Actively participate in applied research projects in optics, industrial vision, and metrology, notably for the development of innovative solutions dedicated to quality control and next-generation sensors. Accompany and supervise students within the framework of practical work as well as Bachelor projects. Contribute to the visibility of the research group and the HE-Arc through the realization of demonstrators, the animation of seminars, and the writing of publications. Provide support to service provision activities in metrology, including microscopy, the use of three-dimensional measuring machines, and X-ray inspection. Your profile HES Bachelor's degree or Master's degree (HES or EPF) in microtechniques, industrial informatics (automated systems), or in industrial engineering and management. Solid knowledge in sensors, applied optics, and dimensional metrology. Mastery of at least one programming language such as Python, C++, C#, Matlab, or LabVIEW. Knowledge in optical design and simulation is an asset. Knowledge in the development of industrial vision systems (cameras, lighting, optics, and vision software) is desired. Experience with one or more industrial vision libraries, such as Matrox MIL, Matrox Design Assistant, Cognex, NI Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (VBAI), or OpenCV, is a plus. Ease in report writing. Mastery of French and good knowledge of English. Team spirit, autonomy, and a strong interest in contact with industrial partners.
