QC Business Process Owner (BPO) / Business Process Expert (BPE)

The Position Quality Control (QC) Digital Backbone is a new section within the Quality Control Basel/Kaiseraugst, which comprises around 30 employees and is divided into 2 teams and Subject Matter Experts. The unit focuses on master data management, application support, and BPE (Business Process Expert) / BPO (Business Process Owner) tasks within the digital QC systems. As BPO (Business Process Owner) or Business Process Expert (BPE), you are responsible for the local laboratory systems and their harmonization between the Basel/Kaiseraugst sites and the global interfaces. Your goal is to ensure compliance and thus the safety of our products and the health of patients. The Opportunity In this versatile role, you can expect exciting tasks and the chance to actively shape the digital future of our quality control: Process responsibility & documentation: Responsibility for the processes of the local laboratory systems, including documentation, change management, and deviation handling. System harmonization: Harmonization of the local laboratory systems for Basel/Kaiseraugst with the global interfaces (including ASPIRE, EMPOWER, NEXTLab & SingleLIMS). Continuous improvement: Driving improvements with regard to the local laboratory systems and developing, implementing, and executing strategies and goals of QC with local and global partners. Information flow: Ensuring the flow of information within and outside your own organizational area. Audit & inspection readiness: Representing the department in audits and inspections and ensuring that procedures and documentation are regulatorily compliant and always ready for inspections. Teamwork: Active membership and contribution to the QC Digital Backbone section. Who you are You bring an open mindset, take on responsibility, and want to get involved in a dynamic, regulatory environment: Education & professional experience: Completed degree in the field of Life Sciences and more than 3 years of professional experience in quality assurance or quality control in the pharmaceutical industry (ideally with experience in the field of Pharma-IT systems). Technical expertise & GMP knowledge: Familiarity with the LPS methodology, comprehensive expertise in cGMP, and in-depth knowledge of local and international GMP regulations. Way of working & analytics: Independent handling of demanding tasks, professional and results-oriented way of working with a focus on continuous improvement, and the analytical ability to assess complex issues. Personality & culture: Positive, integrative, and self-reflective personality with pronounced team skills, who lives trust and actively participates in an open speak-up culture. Communication & network: Strong communication skills for building trusting relationships at the Kaiseraugst site and in the global Roche network, combined with excellent language skills in fluent German or English.
