• 26 June 2026 • 80 - 100% • Indefinite duration • Flawil Head of IT Operations 80-100 % (m/f/d) What makes your daily work exciting? • End-to-end responsibility for global IT operations, including the Service Desk, platforms, physical infrastructure, and user experience • Ensuring stable, secure, and high-performance IT services across all sites • Leading and developing a distributed IT operations organization, including several team leaders • Managing the global service model (L1-L3) and continuous service improvement • Being responsible for business-critical platforms such as Azure, AWS, the digital workplace, identity management, and connectivity • Driving security and compliance operations (e.g., vulnerability management, incident response) • Managing external partners, service providers, and licensing models, including FinOps • Being responsible for the IT operations budget, key performance indicators, and performance transparency to management • Ensuring a smooth transition of projects to stable operations • Collaborating closely with the CTO, senior business stakeholders, and international teams What skills do you need to bring? • More than 10 years of experience in IT, including several years of leading global IT operations or infrastructure organizations • Proven experience in managing a global service desk and complex multi-cloud platform landscapes (Azure, AWS) • Proven experience in managing customer-facing or product-centric operational platforms (e.g., SaaS, IoT, connected products) • Solid foundation in service management (e.g., ITIL) with the ability to evolve to modern DevOps-driven models • Practical experience in key infrastructure areas: identity (Microsoft Entra ID), endpoint management, network/SD-WAN, security operations, and observability • Proven success in managing strategic vendors and large-scale contracts • Excellent stakeholder management; able to translate between executive business language and in-depth technical details • Fluent English required; German is a major asset What can we offer you?
