A versatile professional, he/she carries out the following operations: movement assembly, adjustment, setting the dial and hands as well as casing. Their role also consists of ensuring maintenance work as part of after-sales service (SAV) or performing analyses in a laboratory. The watchmaker also analyzes production processes using statistical and methodological tools in order to propose improvement solutions. This apprenticeship is suitable for young people who are interested in watchmaking and love precise work.
