In Bern, with over 1-800 employees, we develop and distribute life-saving therapies for people with serious and rare diseases worldwide.   For the "Sterile Filtration" area within the Sterile Filling department (Production), we are looking for a   Group Leader Sterile Filtration (m/f/d)   In this position, you will report directly to the Head of Sterile Filtration and assume technical and personnel responsibility for a team of several employees. As part of your activities, you will carry out manufacturing processes on a routine plant for the filtration and filling of sterile medicinal products.   You bear responsibility for the high-quality, timely, and quantitative implementation of production orders in strict compliance with all applicable regulations and quality standards.   Your tasks essentially include: • Leading your team, currently in 2-shift operation or from 2027 in 3-shift operation • Leading approx. 8 to 10 employees and coordinating activities and tasks • Personnel planning • Further development of employees • Recruitment as well as training of employees • Ensuring the management of mobile product tanks • Active participation in the process in a production zone and providing technical support in • * the operation of plants • Carrying out measurements / testing • Cleaning and disinfection of cleanrooms • Participation in equipment management (planning of mobile product tanks) • Sterile filtration • Documentation of the work performed • Compliance with work instructions, SOPs and GMP guidelines • Support and management of the plant in case of breakdowns and malfunctions • Working with modern process control systems • Planning & execution of maintenance work • Working according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) (documentation, cleaning, etc.) • Preparation, assistance in the execution of inspections • Contact person for technical matters for your own area of responsibility • Support with project work • Working with SAP • Close cooperation with the other group leaders (sterile filling and bulk plants) • Setting clear goals, promoting cooperation and creating a responsible working environment     Qualifications & Professional Experience:   • Completed vocational training in the food, pharma, or technical sector • Experience in personnel leadership, as well as professional experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry • High social competence and team spirit • High resilience and reliability • Enjoyment of working in a team and enjoyment of producing high-quality medications • High capacity for motivation / independence, reliable way of working and great understanding of quality • Good PC skills (MS-Office, SAP) • Good communication skills in speaking and writing (German required and ideally English) • Willingness for occasional shift work, especially on weekends   Do you feel addressed?
