As a Senior Registrar holding a specialist title in nephrology, you will ensure clinical activities on a rotational basis in outpatient nephrology, hospital, hypertension, dialysis, or transplantation. You demonstrate resilience, clinical sense, and a high capacity for analysis in managing sometimes complex situations. Thanks to your organizational skills and ability to prioritize, you effectively manage your clinical activities while responding to multiple demands (patients, telephones, correspondence, meetings). You operate in a demanding environment at the interface of care, teaching, and research. In this capacity, you collaborate closely with the entire medico-nursing team and ensure clear, fluid, and respectful communication, both with your colleagues and with patients, adapting your speech to their understanding. Relying on your team spirit, you demonstrate solidarity in the face of unforeseen events. As a senior registrar, you actively participate in the supervision and training of internal doctors of the medical department in the field of nephrology and hypertension, adopting a mentoring posture and sharing your expertise. You have a frontline activity. You ensure teaching activities in the field of nephrology (AMC, Forum, UIDC, APP, exams, trainees). You hold a federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent by the Commission des professions médicales of the Office fédéral de la santé publique (MEBEKO). You hold an FMH title in nephrology or have a title deemed equivalent recognized by MEBEKO and possess the cantonal right to practice or are able to obtain it before starting your position from the cantonal physician of Genève. You justify confirmed experience in general nephrology and with dialysis patients allowing you to be autonomous. Significant experience in transplantation or a strong interest in the field is an asset for the position. As part of this position, you wish to strengthen your expertise in a renowned university center for one to two years. For non-French speaking persons, a C1 level in French for both spoken and written tests is required. You have excellent communication skills in a multidisciplinary team and with patients, you are a dynamic, flexible, committed person and demonstrate discretion. Furthermore, you have demonstrated strong adaptability and a strong team spirit and solidarity towards team members. You can work both in day shifts and in night and weekend shifts.
