As part of the reorganization of the municipal administration, we are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and responsible person as Head of Administration (70-90%) with Departmental Management Finance (Financial Manager) from July 1, 2026, or by agreement. Area of responsibility As Head of Administration, you will coordinate all administrative operations of the municipality of Gunzgen and complete all related tasks with your team. In addition to administrative management, you will lead the finance department in a performance- and results-oriented manner and coordinate ongoing financial transactions. You will be responsible for the rolling financial and investment planning, risk management of the municipality, and the internal control system, and you will also ensure effective and meaningful financial controlling and reporting. As a financial and strategy advisor to the municipal council, you will also be responsible for important contract negotiations and thus play a central role in the future development of the municipality. With a workload of 90% and your interest in planning and IT processes, you will also take over the management of the E-Bau system and the associated administrative tasks as departmental manager for construction. Profile / Requirements You are an innovative, independent, and communicative person with leadership experience and assertiveness. You have a federal certificate of expertise in finance and accounting or equivalent training in the public management sector. It is an advantage if you already have experience in public accounting. Your in-depth technical knowledge in finance and accounting is supplemented by very good IT skills and your organizational talent. You are also willing to participate in evening meetings.
