Our over 8'600 employees and around 700 trainees are committed every day to the well-being of our patients. ### Your field of activity as a Group Leader • You care for patients with complex thoracic surgical and pneumological clinical pictures (e.g. after lung resections, in case of respiratory insufficiency or oncological therapies) and ensure evidence-based, safe nursing throughout the entire treatment process • Within the framework of daily responsibility, you coordinate the processes on the inpatient ward, prioritize resources and act as the central contact person for interdisciplinary professional groups along the patient pathway • You support the department management in professional and organizational leadership tasks, take co-responsibility for personnel deployment planning, the accompanying of new employees as well as the promotion of team development • You actively participate in ensuring and further developing the quality of nursing, implement quality standards and contribute to shared governance committees or specialist groups • You participate in projects and change processes in the highly specialized environment of thoracic surgery and pneumology and contribute your nursing expertise specifically to innovation and optimization projects We look forward to your application Delil Taycimen Recruiting About the USZ The Universitätsspital Zürich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland.
