The Service de l'énergie et de l'environnement (SENE) - Section eaux et sols is looking for a Laboratory Manager 80% to 100% SENE69 SENE - Section eaux et sols You will join a motivated team, committed to the protection and quality control of surface and groundwater, discharges from wastewater treatment plants (water and sludge), air, and soil. Your missions Reporting to the "Eaux et sols" section, you manage, with the support of the head of section, all the activities of the laboratory, accredited ISO 17025, mainly in the field of analytical chemistry. Thanks to your experience, you ensure the maintenance of the laboratory's accreditation and work on the development and validation of new analytical methods. With ease, you exploit database management systems (DBMS) and create software interfaces to harmonize the different environments. You also plan and prepare the various sampling campaigns and organize the analysis programs accordingly. Furthermore, you manage the laboratory for equipment purchasing and maintenance, the maintenance of infrastructure, as well as for the training and development of its personnel (6 people). Finally, your skills position you as the reference interlocutor for various internal and external entities. Your profile Holder of a master's degree in chemistry or a title deemed equivalent, you have at least five years of experience in the field of laboratory work. Your significant experience in chromatography and your excellent understanding of mass spectrometry make you an ideal candidate. Moreover, your management qualities allow you to administer the laboratory and its staff. Finally, you master French, both spoken and written, and also have knowledge of German to integrate into the different specialist groups at the national level.
