Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer The IT-Security Operations- & Engineering unit is responsible for two IT-security departments: the Cyber Defence Center and the IAM-Engineering Team. The main task of the IAM department is the provision, further development, and operation of a central Identity & Access Management infrastructure in coordination with the relevant stakeholder and in compliance with internal specifications. Your tasks Support of the IAM department in the further development, maintenance, and operation of services and components of the central Identity & Access Management (IAM) infrastructure. This includes the provision of tools and processes for the management of digital identities, associated user accounts, and permissions, as well as the provision of Federation Services for secure authentication of users when using internal applications and external Cloud Services; Functional responsibility (and/or deputy) for the operation and further development of individual IAM services and technical components; Advising and supporting application, process, and project managers regarding the connection/integration of applications, services, and processes to the central IAM infrastructure; Ensuring the 7x24 on-call service for the IAM services together with your teammates. Your profile University or technical college degree in computer science with at least 3 years of sound professional experience in the implementation of IAM solutions; Sound experience in the automation of deployments as well as good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, and Docker; Good know-how in the operating systems Microsoft Windows and Linux, Microsoft Active Directory, databases (Oracle and Microsoft SQL), CI/CD, and LDAP; Good scripting and programming skills, preferably in Bash, Powershell, XML, SQL, and Java, for the customizing of the tools and interfaces used; High analytical and conceptual skills, communicative strength, teamwork, and service orientation; Independent way of working and a sense for task-oriented prioritization; Experience with OpenText/NetIQ and Ping Identity products advantageous; Good oral and written German and English skills.
