Spanish Spanish Teacher (5h/week) Start date: from the start of the 2026 school year at our three sites: primary schools in Genève and Mies and orientation cycle/college Activity rate: 5 hours per week Schedule: Tuesdays from 16h45 to 18h at the orientation cycle/college (students aged 12 to 15) Thursdays from 16h to 17h (students 1-3p) and from 17h to 18h (students 4-8p) on the Genève primary campus Fridays from 16h to 18h (students 1-8p) on the Mies primary campus Our bilingual (French–English) private school/college La Découverte, located in Genève and Mies, welcomes children in a stimulating, demanding, and caring environment. In order to complete our educational team, we are looking for a Spanish teacher who shares these values and wishes to contribute to offering children/adolescents a secure, warm, and conducive framework for their development. Your mission As part of our extracurricular activities, we are looking for a Spanish teacher to join our team from the start of the school year, starting from the week of August 24, 2026\. The successful candidate's mission will be to lead playful and interactive Spanish classes with students at our three campuses. At the primary level, through games, songs, stories, and playful activities, introduce children to the Spanish language in a natural and fun way. Offer a workshop allowing them to enrich their vocabulary, develop their oral comprehension, and open up to a new culture, while enjoying learning. At the orientation cycle, through a mix of conversation, cultural exploration, grammatical practice, and creative projects, lead students to strengthen their linguistic skills in a dynamic and inclusive environment. You will be expected to develop in students the confidence necessary to speak and express their ideas, whether they are still enriching their vocabulary or already fluently master the language. Your profile You are a person: with Spanish as a native language or possessing an excellent level of Spanish; with experience in teaching, ideally with children and adolescents; warm, dynamic, and reliable; capable of setting a clear framework with kindness; at ease in managing a group of children/adolescents; creative, proactive, and capable of taking initiative; sensitive to the socio-emotional development of children; available during the indicated hours. A training in the fields of childhood, animation, education, or social work is required. Knowledge of French or English is appreciated in the bilingual context of our establishment.
