Specialist Care Worker in the Atelier 60-80%

The Stiftung FARO accompanies and cares for adults with cognitive and/or psychological impairments. We are committed to ensuring that people with disabilities, especially those with challenging behavior, receive a place in society.  We are looking for, immediately or by arrangement,  a Specialist Care Worker in the Atelier 60-80% In our two ateliers, adults with a cognitive and/or psychological impairment as well as challenging behavior participate. We offer the participants diverse, individualized and group-related activities. Your tasks • Planning, designing and leading day-structuring offers, taking into account the resources and needs of the clients • Performing professional agogic actions, such as opening up opportunities for participation for the clients and enabling competent participation • Promoting the social and everyday practical abilities and skills of the clients • Accompanying the clients during unpredictable moments or crisis situations and documentation Your qualification • Completed EFZ training as a Fachperson Betreuung • Experience in working with people with a cognitive and/or psychological impairment • High social competence and assertiveness as well as strong psychological and physical resilience and flexibility • Creative and manual skills • Independent action and teamwork skills with a healthy dose of humor Our offer This varied and interesting work allows for an in-depth engagement with the different personalities and needs of the participants.
