Place of work: Bern The Logistics department ensures the timely supply of the Bern Cantonal Police with materials, equipment and devices. It guarantees the readiness of deployment materials and ensures that the necessary resources are available in perfect condition at all locations at all times. Your tasks <br /> • Ensuring warehouse management throughout the canton of Bern, including inventory management, goods receipt and quality control as well as supply organization • Ensuring the operational readiness of all materials and equipment at various locations (provision, retablierung, maintenance and repair coordination) • Logistic support for deployment forces during police services and internal events • Deployment-related material coordination for police units during deployments and training sequences • Organization, setup and dismantling as well as technical support of audio and video systems at internal events • Taking over standby services in the Logistics department <br /> Your profile <br /> • Completed vocational training, preferably in the field of logistics, technology or craftsmanship (e.g. logistics specialist EFZ or equivalent) • Professional experience in warehouse management and good SAP knowledge (inventory management, material master data, serial numbers, minimum shelf life (MHD) etc.) • Technical understanding in handling equipment and devices (including audio/video systems) as well as affinity in safe handling of weapons and ammunition • Identification with the values of the Bern Cantonal Police: <aschtändig>, <gwüssehaft>, <mitenang>, <mit Reschpäkt>, <präzis> and <mit Härzbluet> • Independent, structured and resilient personality with high service orientation as well as willingness to work irregular hours and standby services • Driver's license cat.
