Place of work: Youth Hostel Crans-Montana "Bella Lui" Scope of work: Flexible hourly wage (including weekend, holiday and split shifts), presumably a scope of 30%-50% Entry: immediately or by arrangement About our youth hostel: The former sanatorium on a high plateau promises an incredible view of the Valais Alps from three sun terraces. High window fronts and glass doors let the sun into the building and flood the rooms with light. The right place for our guests to recover after an exciting hiking, biking or skiing day. In this unique, historic setting, close to Lac Grenon, we ensure daily that our guests' holidays become unforgettable. Become part of our dynamic, uncomplicated team! Your tasks As an all-rounder in our kitchen, you are the valuable support in the background, ensuring that everything runs smoothly in the culinary day-to-day business: -Kitchen support: You help our kitchen team with the preparation of food (Mis en Place) and simple kitchen tasks. -Cleanliness & Hygiene: You take over the washing up, clean the kitchen equipment and work surfaces, and maintain our hygiene standards (HACCP). -Flexible deployment: You support us where help is needed: sometimes also in split shifts (with room hours) as well as on weekends and holidays, when there is high demand. Your profile With us, your personality is in the foreground: we are looking for someone who can get involved and likes to work in a team. -Requirements: No specific training is required. - Lateral entrants are welcome! -Experience: First experience in a gastro or large kitchen is a big plus, but not a must. -Languages: You speak French and/or English, so you can communicate effortlessly with our international kitchen team. (German/Italian would be a nice bonus). -Mindset: You are flexible, physically resilient, reliable, and keep your smile even in stressful moments.
