Bronschhofen \| 80-100% The contribution you can make • Carry out diagnosis, repair and adjustment work on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, chassis, overall subsystems and safety and comfort electronics • Check defects on decommissioned vehicles as well as carry out general checks regarding noise, engine performance, transmission, steering and brake function • Restore the operational readiness of decommissioned system material • Carry out the overhaul or replacement of individual complete assemblies or their components • Provide advice and assistance to beneficiaries of services (troops, third parties, etc.) and carry out the relevant checks when handing over and taking back vehicles, with regard to driving safety, accident prevention, maintenance, cleaning and inventory of vehicles • Provide support to apprentices <br /> What distinguishes you • Training as a car mechanic, automotive mechatronics engineer AFC (light/heavy vehicles) or equivalent training in a related profession • Professional development as a diagnostician for wheeled vehicles • Driving licenses for categories B, C, E • Good organizational skills in defining task priorities and independent and conscientious processing • Service-oriented way of working in contacts with the troops <br /> In brief As a diagnostician, you will enjoy finding solutions using modern test and inspection equipment. With your systematic fault research, you will identify the causes of defects found in vehicles. Together with your team, you will contribute to ensuring the operational capability and readiness for use of the Swiss Army's wheeled, utility and special vehicles.
