Mechanic for High-Voltage Testing The Fachkommission für Hochspannungsfragen (FKH) is an organization with a club structure, specialized in on-site testing services in the field of high-voltage technology. The Fachkommission, which has existed for around 80 years, offers independent testing of the energy infrastructure on cables, switchgear, transformers, and other operating equipment. With a compact team of around 25 mechanics and engineers, the FKH contributes to continuously improving the safety of power transmission systems in Switzerland. To strengthen our team in Niedergösgen, we are looking for a motivated and flexibly deployable person to carry out mechanical work in an electrical environment. Your challenge You build test sources in substations at changing locations and in our high-voltage laboratory in Niedergösgen. In addition to testing activities, you help to continuously develop and keep our test sources and measuring devices up to date with the latest technology. Your tasks include: Setting up test equipment on site at the customer and collaborating on high-voltage testing in the team Preparing, maintaining, and servicing test equipment Carrying out mechanical or wiring work on the in-house production of test equipment Carrying out maintenance work on the FKH premises Your qualities You have training as a polymechanic, network electrician, or assembly electrician Practical experience with high-voltage systems or interest in getting involved PW driver's license (experience with trailers preferred) Experience with forklifts, lifting platforms, and cranes or willingness to take the corresponding courses Willingness to work on site (approx. 60%) throughout Switzerland and occasionally in neighboring countries (work at changing locations, partly outdoors) Initiative, time flexibility, and reliability as well as pronounced quality and safety awareness You are a team player and love the variety in the team Would you like to become part of a highly qualified team and further develop yourself in the energy market?
