Therwil is an attractive residential community in the heart of Leimental with around 10-000 inhabitants. As a modern service provider, the municipal administration is in the public eye. To complement our Social Services team, we are looking for a Social Worker Social Assistance (60%) ## starting 1. October 2026 or by arrangement The following tasks are part of your area of activity: • Clarification and assessment of applications for economic and personal assistance according to the Social Assistance Act and the cantonal asylum ordinance • Development of target agreements and implementation of measures with clients • Preparation of applications and decrees for the social assistance authority • Case management and seamless documentation in KLIBnet • Networking and cooperation with internal departments and external specialist agencies (e.g., RAV, legal guardianships, social insurance, offices) What you must bring with you: • Completed degree in Social Work (FH or equivalent) • Several years of professional experience in the field of social assistance • Sound knowledge of the Social Assistance Act and the cantonal asylum ordinance • Proficient German in speaking and writing • Confident handling of common office software; experience with KLIBnet is an advantage This position is a good fit for you if you: • enjoy working independently and also make sustainable decisions in complex, emotionally demanding situations • feel comfortable in an official framework with clear legal requirements • possess a humorous, resilient, and solution-oriented personality • enjoy helping people in difficult life situations We offer: • a responsible, varied activity in a small, dedicated team • short decision-making paths and direct contact with the Social Services management • contemporary employment conditions according to the personnel regulations of the municipality of Therwil Have we aroused your interest?
