The third-largest psychiatric clinic in the canton of Bern is open to patients from all over Switzerland and abroad and is responsible for the inpatient psychiatric basic care of the eastern Bernese Oberland. In the psychiatric-psychotherapeutic center for young adults in Thun (PZJE), we treat young adults aged 16 to 25 years with diseases from the entire spectrum of psychiatry with comprehensive psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment. The center includes 30 inpatient beds, has a 24-hour emergency admission obligation, and is primarily conducted openly and, if necessary, on a protected ward. Treatment is provided according to the latest evidence-based medical, therapeutic, and nursing knowledge.
