It conducts and coordinates the communication of the Federal Council and develops the political planning for the government. It organizes events of the Federal Council in corpore and supports the Federal Presidency. Furthermore, the Federal Chancellery organizes votes and elections at the federal level. It is the contact point for initiative or referendum committees and examines the occurrence of popular initiatives. In addition, the Federal Chancellery supports and coordinates the digital transformation of the Federal Administration.
