Polymechanic, Miller or comparable, 100% Your Challenge We are the company Grafe () from Birsfelden. We create signage and lettering for clients such as the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois, the Theater Basel, the SBB or the Baloise. We are looking for a workshop all-rounder (polymechanic, miller or comparable) who spends most of the time in our workshop in Birsfelden and occasionally also helps out on-site during installation. We are not looking for a button-pusher. Every project is as individual as your work with us. In the workshop (focus): You work on, among other things, our 2.5D milling machine: versatile, demanding, often delicate. You independently prepare milling and CAM data (STEP, DXF, Illustrator, CorelDraw) and ensure that data becomes finished products. In addition, you saw fine angles and profiles from aluminum, brass, wood and steel, break edges cleanly, drill, screw, rivet, glue and take over pre-assemblies. When an order becomes tricky, unusual shape, exotic material, difficult construction, you look for the way. Not the boss. Clever solutions are expressly desired. Your Profile Completed training as a polymechanic, sign/advertising manufacturer or comparable in the technical-craft area with a milling focus Basic experience and knowledge in milling, ideally with a background in advertising technology or individual part production Workshop experience with various materials: aluminum, brass, wood, steel Delicate, precise way of working.
