Head of Business Unit WAS IV / Member of the Management Board Help shape the future of IV Luzern with – strategically, networked and with tangible impact. WAS Wirtschaft Arbeit Soziales is the Lucerne center for social insurance and combines the business areas of Ausgleichskasse, IV, wira and Services under one roof. As an independent public-law organization, WAS plays a central role at the interface of social insurance, labor market and social integration. Due to the retirement of the current incumbent, you have the opportunity to take on a central leadership role with high visibility and design power as Head of Business Unit WAS IV and Member of the Management Board, 90–100 % to take over. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall responsibility for the IV business unit with 210 employees and will significantly shape its strategic further development. You are able to translate strategic guidelines into effective operational management, drive organizational and digital transformation processes in a forward-looking manner, and create orientation and a work environment that strengthens development, cooperation and trust. In doing so, you will shape the further development of the organization across departmental boundaries and position the IV sovereignly in the field of tension between politics, administration and services. As a member of the management board, you will represent WAS with conviction internally and externally and maintain a sustainable network with relevant stakeholders. You have a university degree, preferably in business administration, law, public management or a related discipline, supplemented by in-depth further training in leadership or management. Decisive are your many years of leadership experience in a comparably complex organization and your understanding of the dynamics at the interface of politics and social insurance. You bring experience in transformation processes and organizational development. Personally, you convince through a positive image of humanity, clarity, integrity, decision-making strength and the ability to provide orientation and enable development.
