Project Coordinator Wastewater Treatment/Infrastructure Project

The ARA Region Biel AG operates two wastewater treatment plants and takes over the wastewater treatment and processing of around 20 connected municipalities for over 100'000 inhabitants. In the next decade, the plant in Brügg will be completely renewed. As part of this major project, we are looking for a committed, technically skilled person with project management experience and enthusiasm for sustainable infrastructure as Project Coordinator Wastewater Treatment/Infrastructure Project 80-100% In this staff position, you will take on the following tasks • Leading projects in municipal wastewater treatment • Overall coordination of the renewal project «Renewal ARA Biel 2035» • Interface between external engineering offices, internal organization and other stakeholders • Technical and economic accompaniment, control and controlling of the projects • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and safety standards • Support during commissioning, maintenance and revisions of the plants Your profile • A vocational training (mechanical/electrical) with further education in project management • And/or a degree (FH/ETH) as a construction, environmental or process engineer • Experience in project management in complex projects, ideally in plant construction • Knowledge of planning, design and realization of technical plants • An advantage: experience in public procurement law • Good technical understanding, as well as structured and solution-oriented working methods • Communicative, assertive and team-oriented • Entrepreneurial thinking, sense of responsibility and initiative • Very good German and French language skills What we offer you A key role in a significant infrastructure project with long-term perspective.
