Head Coach - Artistic Swimming (50-60%)

The Cercle des Nageurs de Monthey is looking for a head coach to continue the development of its artistic swimming section. Missions: • Supervision of groups (children from 4 years old, young people and adults) • Planning and structuring of a complete sports season • Creation of free and technical choreographies (solos, duos and teams) • Technical, physical and mental preparation of athletes • Preparation and accompaniment of athletes during regional, national and international competitions • Coordination and accompaniment of the team of coaches • Participation in the development of the club's sports projects (camps, shows) • Participation in the supervision of the swimming school Profile sought: • Being ready to assume a position of responsibility, involving the sports management of the section, the coordination of coaches and collaboration with the committee • Significant experience (minimum 10 years) in artistic swimming, either as an athlete or coach • Experience in creating choreographies (solos, duos and teams) • Experience in supervising several age groups • Skills in mental preparation of athletes (coaching, sports psychology or equivalent) • Ability to integrate a global body approach (injury prevention, mobility, body awareness) • Experience in accompanying and transmitting skills to other coaches • Autonomy and sense of organization • Mastery of French spoken (supervision of children from 4 years old) • Availability in the evening and on weekends • Youth & Sport (J+S) certificate. The continuous training required by Jeunesse+Sport will have to be followed in order to maintain this active recognition throughout the duration of the commitment. • Valid rescue certificate: BLS/AED and Pool Base (minimum). The obligatory recycling, required every two years by the municipalities making the infrastructure available, will have to be carried out regularly in order to maintain these certifications. • Artistic swimming judge certificate or commitment to obtaining it quickly, with the will to ensure the maintenance of the required qualifications according to the requirements of the federation.
