The Nursing Home St. Johann is an old-age and nursing home in the heart of the St. Johann district in Basel. Since 1964, we have been providing a home for 75 residents and are also an important workplace for around 115 employees. As an active part of the district, we engage in various events for togetherness and social networking. Managing Director, Nursing Home St. Johann (80-100%) Your tasks You bear the operational overall responsibility for the operation within the framework of the strategic specifications of the Board of Trustees. In doing so, you lead an interdisciplinary team, further develop offers, and ensure high-quality care and services. You are responsible for the budget, processes, and quality assurance, and represent the institution to partners, authorities, and the public. Your profile You have a completed degree (FH/University) in the social, health, or economic sector, as well as several years of professional and leadership experience in a comparable function, ideally in the long-term care or healthcare sector. You are familiar with the current developments and challenges of the industry and shape the organization with foresight. You think entrepreneurially, act solution-oriented, and have a pronounced sense of people. Communication strength, decision-making pleasure, willingness to work, and appreciative employee leadership characterize you. You identify with the Christian values of the founder of the Nursing Home St. Johann, the Baptist community of Basel, and cultivate an empathetic, respectful approach to employees, residents, and relatives.
