Job Description In this position, the selected candidate will make a significant contribution to the continuous improvement of the health, safety and environmental performance of the site. The versatile area of responsibility includes, in particular: Further development and implementation of strategic specifications in the areas of occupational safety, health protection and environment, as well as promoting a proactive safety culture Responsibility for the support and continuous optimization of management systems, taking into account regulatory requirements, internal standards and group-wide guidelines Central contact person for external inspection bodies, authorities and other relevant stakeholders, as well as coordination of audits and assessment appointments Management of risk and hazard analyses, assessment of operational impacts as well as investigation of events including implementation and follow-up of suitable improvement measures Conception and implementation of training, workshops and information campaigns to promote a sustainable safety and responsibility awareness Further development of processes for emergency preparedness and crisis management as well as planning and organization of corresponding training and practical tests Preparation of management and performance reports as well as participation in cross-functional projects for continuous improvement and knowledge transfer Profile To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate meets the following requirements: Successfully completed vocational training or further education in the field of occupational safety, health protection or comparable qualification Several years of professional experience in an HSE function within an industrial or logistics environment Proven experience in the implementation, further development and auditing of management systems according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Sound knowledge of Swiss legislation in the areas of occupational safety, health protection, environmental management and compliance Business fluent German skills as well as very good English skills in speaking and writing Strong leadership, communication and assertion skills combined with a practical, solution-oriented way of working.
