The main research topics are (i) breeding new apricot and pear varieties to improve their resistance to diseases and pests, fruit quality and productivity, (ii) developing methods for pest and disease control to reduce the use of pesticides, and (iii) determining the factors influencing fruit quality before and after harvest to reduce the impact of climate change.
