System Engineer 80 – 100% You will strengthen our two-person infrastructure team. The focus is on operations, supplemented by project work in varying scopes. Your tasks Support for internal employees Operation of the server and network infrastructure including monitoring, backup, patch management, and documentation Provision and maintenance of office and home office workstations as well as meeting rooms Further development of the infrastructure in internal projects Implementation of security and compliance requirements together with the internal responsible parties (ISO 27001) Coordination with external partners and suppliers Technical support for customer advisors in customer projects Execution of planned maintenance work outside of office hours, especially updates and system work Your profile Completed IT training (EFZ, HF or FH) or equivalent practical experience Several years of experience in the operation and expansion of IT infrastructures Good knowledge in the Microsoft environment, especially Windows Server and Active Directory Good knowledge in the operation of Linux servers, automation (e.g., Ansible) is an advantage In-depth knowledge in virtualization, experience with Proxmox VE is an advantage Professional experience in the operation of networks and firewalls Good knowledge in storage and backup, experience with NetApp is an advantage Basic knowledge in monitoring as well as client and server deployment Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented way of working Very good German skills and good English skills Our environment Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, VMware/ESXi and Hyper-V, NetApp, SonicWall, VPN, RDP based workstations as well as Linux systems.
