This department provides care to patients of all ages, children and adults, suffering from neurosurgical, neurological, ophthalmological and oto-rhino-laryngological pathologies. Care is adapted to the needs and difficulties of the patient, from the most acute sectors (intermediate care units) to the rehabilitation sectors (neurorehabilitation). The objective of the department is to lead patients towards recovery of their autonomy through teaching, support and outpatient follow-up. It ensures the operation of patients as well as their support, in order to promote an early return home. In the same vein, outpatient care is also prioritized and operative activity is optimized, to facilitate accessibility to care within a reasonable timeframe. The neurology and neurosurgery intermediate care unit ensures the global, diagnostic and therapeutic care of patients of all ages. Nurses in the neurology and neurosurgery intermediate care unit - 80% to 100% You will join an intermediate care unit of 14 beds. This unit welcomes patients from the specialties of vascular neurology, neurosurgery and general neurology. You provide, autonomously and on medical delegation, personalized nursing care with close monitoring to a patient population of all ages. You work in an acute care context that requires the use of medical devices and medico-technical equipment. You know how to analyze complex clinical situations and have an ability to manage unforeseen events thanks to different monitorings. You are a person committed to the quality of care and you orient your care interventions guaranteeing safe care. You demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and consider the patient as well as their relatives as partners in the care process. You participate in the supervision and clinical teaching of new nursing staff and other health professionals. You ensure with precision and rigor the transmission of information in interprofessionality. Your learning capacities allow you to progress constantly in your practice. Qualifications You hold a Bachelor HES in nursing or an equivalent title recognized by the Croix-Rouge Suisse. Having benefited from specialized training in continuous care constitutes a specialization that is required or must be acquired during employment. You have at least 2 years of experience in acute care. You have an excellent command of the French language, both orally and in writing. Thanks to your reactivity, your good stress management and a sharp sense of priorities, you are able to face a high flow of patients. You are of a rigorous nature and possess an excellent mastery of technical gestures and clinical evaluation with developed clinical judgment. Your capacity to work collaboratively allows you to evolve in a multidisciplinary team. You uphold the relational values of teamwork.
