Bern, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100% Your contribution <br /> • Analyze developments in financial and capital markets, digital innovations, the Swiss financial center, and financial stability and financial market regulation • Prepare proposals for the Federal Council, Parliament, department, and office management, as well as create legal texts (law and ordinance level), discussion papers, presentations, and analyses • Monitor international standards in the field of financial market regulation as well as their implementation in Switzerland, the EU, and other financial centers and evaluate the need for action • Manage the representation of the EFD in the Financial Stability Board (FSB) as well as draft statements and positions of Switzerland on selected topics • Represent Switzerland in working groups, specialist committees, and at conferences and perform coordination work <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • University degree in economics or law; several years of professional experience in the financial sector • High affinity for technological developments in the financial sector and associated economic and legal issues • Strong analytical and editorial skills; independent way of working and organizational skill with complex subject matter; high goal and result orientation • Interest in mobile forms of work and competent handling of the digital working world • Very good knowledge of two official languages as well as English; knowledge of a third official language is an advantage <br /> In a nutshell In this exciting role, you contribute to an innovative and future-oriented financial center and to the international safeguarding of Switzerland's interests in the areas of capital markets, innovation, and financial market infrastructures.
