Ittigen, Switzerland (and home office) | 70-70% This is your contribution <br /> • Inform and warn authorities and the population about floods or droughts • Ensure the quality of the hydrological models in the operational forecasting system • Complement the team with in-depth experience of Machine Learning models for forecasting • Develop strategies and concepts for the further development of the model landscape and the forecasting system • Contribute innovative ideas in the development of new products • Participate in national and international committees <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • University degree in hydrology or environmental sciences or an equivalently recognized education as well as experience in the field of hydrological models • In-depth knowledge of Machine Learning models • Proven project management experience of complex IT systems • Good IT skills for handling large amounts of data • Good active knowledge of at least one second official language and, if possible, knowledge of a third official language.
