The mission in APEMS is focused on the development of social skills of children through their participation in community life. The APEMS are located in the heart of the Lausanne neighborhoods, close to schools. The implementation of collective projects, the development of partnerships with stakeholders around children, reflection, and the constitution of pedagogical project teams are the essential actions that support and sustain the daily reception of the group of children. We are recruiting for the 2026 school year, two childhood educators or sociocultural animators for the APEMS du Cèdre (positions between 67.5% and 82.5%). Main mission(s) Ensure the care of a group of children in accordance with the pedagogical concept while maintaining the overall vision Accompany the group of children in daily activities as well as in the completion of their schoolwork and promote their autonomy Propose an individualized support approach in relation to the skills to be developed or the needs of the child Participate in the general organization of the structure Assume specific administrative tasks Propose, manage, and document projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders Include various stakeholders in the reception and education of the group of children Profile Title of childhood educator (HES or ES) or sociocultural animator (HES) recognized according to the competency reference framework of the law on the daytime reception of children (LAJE) Complementary training as a practitioner trainer or professional practice trainer, an asset Minimum 2 years of professional experience with a group of children Good knowledge of collective reception places and group dynamics Team spirit, at ease in exchanges with parents Autonomy and responsible attitude Analytical, synthesis, and proposal strengths as well as improvement Ability to document one's activity and that of the group of children Able to develop a participatory process within one's team and in the group of children Special conditions Clean judicial records (ordinary and special) Split schedules from Monday to Friday Contract with activities during school vacations Workplace Chemin d'Entre-Bois 21, 1018 Lausanne Salary class 7 Entry into function Immediate or to be agreed upon Offer Thank you for sending us your application and usual documents until via the online form.
