Bern, Switzerland \| 100-100% (job sharing possible) The contribution you can make <br /> • Actively contribute to the definition of the technical architecture and the development of DevOps and platform services for the new Data & Analytics platform, ensuring its stability, scalability, and security. • Constantly design, standardize, and develop the DevOps toolchain, as well as Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, and GitOps solutions. • Automate platform components and operational processes, optimize performance and operational reliability, and implement modern observability and security practices. • Analyze complex technical issues, develop sustainable solutions, and promote the adoption of new technologies and best practices for the platform. • Technically manage DevOps engineers, provide consultancy to other engineers, and ensure, in collaboration with the teams dedicated to infrastructure, architecture, and security, the continuous development of the Data & Analytics platform. <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • University degree (SSP/SUP/university) in computer science, management informatics, or a related field, in addition to several years of professional and managerial experience as a DevOps Engineer or Platform Engineer in a corporate environment; certifications in Kubernetes, OpenShift, cloud technologies, ITIL, or HERMES are an advantage. • Solid experience in the implementation and management of container-based platforms, as well as deep knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, GitOps, and modern DevOps tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm, GitLab CI, ArgoCD). • Experience in designing scalable platform architectures, as well as deep knowledge of the fields of automation, observability, security, networks, and the management of platforms crucial for operations. • High autonomy, strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as a propensity to define technical standards, solve complex problems, and provide technical advice to interdisciplinary teams. <br /> In summary The SECO labor directorate is part of the Confederation's competence center for all key issues related to labor market policy and unemployment insurance. As the compensation office for the AD fund, the Labor Market/Unemployment Insurance (AD) benefits field is responsible for the application of the unemployment insurance law. Within the IT sector, the data warehouse application services group contributes to the monthly production of official statistics on the labor market in Switzerland, provides tools for the efficient and effective management and control of decentralized execution bodies, as well as management support tools for the compensation office and the execution bodies. Furthermore, it manages over a dozen data and analytics complete applications.
