You accompany our fleet over its entire life cycle, make decisions today for the deployments of tomorrow, and balance technology, economy, and international requirements. This ensures that goods are on the move safely, sustainably, and punctually - day after day, across borders. ### This is what awaits you: • You are responsible for fleet management over the entire life cycle, ensuring reliability • You strategically align the assigned fleet and develop the fleet strategy in technical and economic aspects • You are responsible for the further development of the locomotive monitoring system with a focus on optimized maintenance • You lead refit and upgrade projects from planning to successful implementation • You are responsible for the international deployability of the locomotives as well as for regulations and guidelines, coordinating new requirements • You represent the interests of BLS Cargo in specialist committees and actively participate in performance procurement This is what you bring with you: • A higher technical education FH or university in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering forms your basis • A business management training complements your technical understanding • Experience in fleet management or in interdisciplinary projects in the rail sector characterizes you • Know-how in fleet technology, desirable in the area of ETCS safety systems and life-cycle costs, you bring with you • Confident appearance in German and English as well as willingness to travel round off your profile Your benefits - this is what you can look forward to: • Receive a GA 2nd class, a GA 1st class or a Half-Fare travelcard. • Work where it suits you best.
