Draftsperson Architecture Specialist EFZ (80-100%)

PLAYZE is an architectural firm with studios in Basel, Berlin and Shanghai. Our inspiration stems from the intensive engagement with the various countries and cultures in which we operate. The teams at the individual locations are specialized in their local environment and at the same time transculturally connected to one another. For our studio at St. Alban-Vorstadt in Basel, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a DRAFTSPERSON ARCHITECTURE SPECIALIST EFZ (80-100%) WHAT TO EXPECT You will become part of a small, dedicated team with an open and friendly working atmosphere. Together we develop and realize demanding structural engineering projects in different scales – from the first concept idea to implementation. Our current projects include: • a residential and commercial building in the heart of Basel city center • an event hall at Dreispitz • a project for communal living and working on a former industrial area in Laufenburg • the renovation and redesign of two multi-family houses in Allschwil • residential buildings in Oberwil • a house for people with support needs in Hochwald A particular focus of our work lies on innovative solutions in timber construction as well as on the reuse of existing buildings and components. Our timber construction competence team PLAYZE Timber in Berlin develops future-oriented living and working concepts together with industrial partners – this know-how also flows directly into our Swiss projects. WHAT YOU BRING • Completed training as a Draftsperson EFZ Architecture specialization or an equivalent training • Design sense and understanding of construction processes • Experience with timber construction as well as knowledge in BIM (Revit) are an advantage, but not a requirement • Good German skills WHAT WE OFFER YOU • Responsible collaboration on diverse projects – from concept to execution • A friendly working atmosphere • A small team with short decision-making paths • A place of work in the middle of Basel in a beautiful office in St. Alban-Vorstadt We look forward to your application!
