The Identity Documents and Central Services Division performs the legal tasks of the Confederation regarding identity documents and weapons and explosives law. It assumes high surveillance and market surveillance, the issuance and development of identity documents and e-ID related solutions, the analysis of abuse and falsification and the fight against them.
