Die Plattform Glattal is a specialist in social services and operates various offers in the areas of labor integration, youth work, housing support and counseling. On behalf of and in cooperation with the City of Opfikon, die Plattform Glattal operates the housing support for the collective asylum accommodations Opfikon. Your tasks: ### In team leadership: • You manage the operation and are responsible for organization, workflows and processes • You take over the personnel leadership of three employees • You maintain contact with the commissioning body and coordinate cooperation with the case-managing social workers of the City of Opfikon • You plan and coordinate assignments as well as lead the team meetings • You are responsible for compliance with budget specifications In the support of the residents: • You strengthen the residential competence of the residents and accompany them in everyday and practical life questions • You support the residents in managing conflicts • You accompany the compliance with the house rules and hygiene regulations and check their implementation • You initiate and coordinate leisure activities and network the residents with offers in the neighborhood • You advise and accompany parents in matters regarding their children's school attendance • You work closely with the case-managing social workers of the City of Opfikon as well as other involved specialist agencies Your profile: ### • You bring personal maturity and life experience for this responsible task • You have completed vocational training • Ideally, you have further training in the social sector (e.g., as a social companion) • You have a stable, calm and resilient personality • Initial leadership experience is an advantage • You act with personal responsibility, independently and maintain an overview even in demanding situations • Assertiveness, social competence and an appreciative manner characterize you • You enjoy working with children, young people and adults and encounter people from different cultures with interest and openness • You are humorous, warm-hearted, service-oriented and have a good ability to set boundaries • You are willing to work occasionally on weekends Your perspective: ### • A meaningful activity with a lot of creative freedom • High personal responsibility and the opportunity to contribute and implement your ideas • An uncomplicated, committed team with short decision-making paths • A varied and responsible task • Individual further training and development opportunities • An innovative organization with an open and appreciative culture • Contemporary employment conditions Working hours are basically from 11.00 - 20.00 (you must be able to cover approx. one weekend per month).
