Commit yourself with us to the vision of a solidary society, as Head of Department Security and Facility Management 100 % (m/f/d) Since March 2024, Caritas Switzerland has been operating asylum centers for families, individuals and unaccompanied minors (UAM) at currently five locations in the Canton of Zurich on behalf of the Cantonal Social Services Zurich (KSA). We are looking for a specialist responsible person for the cross-location departmental management in the Security and Facility Management department. Your tasks Leadership and further development of the security organization according to legal, cantonal and Caritas-internal specifications as well as the applicable ASA solution Technical leadership and development of the safety officers (SIBE) and facility management across all asylum locations Technical training and consulting as well as exchange of experience Interdisciplinary cooperation with mandate, center, team and department managements as well as internal and external specialist agencies Standardization of standards for facility management, maintenance, cleaning, hygiene, disposal and logistics Defect, repair and order management with responsibilities, priorities, deadlines and completion control Technical and operational prevention: fire protection, evacuation, emergency organization, first aid, working alone, work equipment, machines, electricity, hazardous substances, protective equipment, safety data sheets, maintenance as well as building and environmental security Health protection: ergonomics, physical strain, hygiene, infection protection, indoor climate, noise as well as health-appropriate workplaces and processes in coordination with the Head of Department Health Our requirements Vocational training in the technical, manual, infrastructural or operational field Further training in Facility Management or facility management is an advantage SIBE training or willingness to undergo it as well as sound knowledge of the EKAS guideline 6508, the ASA solution and operational security requirements Several years of experience in security organization, facility management, Facility Management, operational maintenance, logistics as well as in technical leadership or project responsibility Communication, team, social and intercultural competence Independent, structured, solution-oriented and resilient way of working Analytical thinking, organizational skill and constructive handling of conflicts Very good German skills, oral English skills and ideally another language of the persons being cared for Confident handling of MS Office and digital control and documentation systems Driving license B as well as willingness for location- and service-crossing assignments Work location: Canton of Zurich, main place of work in Zurich Start of work: immediately Caritas offers attractive employment conditions and an open working atmosphere at the pulse of social issues.
