Senior full stack developer Job-related information Start date: immediately or to be agreed Contract duration: permanent (CDI) Activity rate: 100% Workplace: Lausanne\\-Dorigny Your activities Expertise and consulting Provide reference expertise in database design, web servers and complex data analysis. Accompany research teams, analyze their needs and coordinate them to propose reliable and sustainable technical solutions. Promote the use of data science tools and raise awareness among research groups regarding best practices. Development and infrastructure Design, develop and deploy shared software infrastructures intended for several faculties. Develop APIs, visualization tools and interfaces allowing for data valorization. Participate in the maintenance and evolution of DCSR platforms. Valorization and innovation Contribute to technological innovation and the dissemination of best practices within the institution. Design and lead training actions around web technologies and data science Your profile Education and experience Master's in computer science, bioinformatics, geosciences or equivalent field. Doctorate appreciated (biology, biochemistry, or related discipline). Minimum 7 years of professional experience in database development and associated tools, preferably in a scientific environment Technical skills Languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, Bash. Versioning: Git. Databases: o SQL: PostgreSQL, MariaDB o NoSQL: MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Neo4j (at least one DBMS) o heterogeneous data modeling, o administration of triplestores (GraphDB) appreciated Web development: o back\\-end: Django, Rails, Flask, , Symfony (at least one framework) o front\\-end: HTML/CSS, React or o APIs: construction of REST or GraphQL APIs o visualization: , Plotly, etc. Infrastructure and DevOps: o Linux, Docker or Podman, CI/CD (notions), server or cloud deployments o Kubernetes appreciated Security: PKI, certificates, hardening, encryption. Generative AI: knowledge of code generation assistance tools to support researchers. Personal qualities Autonomy, sense of responsibility.
