Berne, Suisse (and home office) | 80-100% What you can contribute <br /> • Establish, independently or in a team, descriptive and scientific analyses concerning Swiss foreign trade and customs data and participate in publications in collaboration with the team • Pursue the development of methodology in the field of statistical information and ensure the quality as well as the consistency of this information • Proceed with the correction of foreign trade results taking into account seasonal variations and the number of working days and assume responsibility for it on a methodological level • Update foreign trade indices and pursue their methodological development • Defend the interests of the organizational unit with internal and external bodies to the administration <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Degree from a higher education institution in political economy or equivalent training • In-depth knowledge of statistical methods, in particular time series, experience in the field of data analysis and the use of databases • Proficiency in programming languages (R, Python and SQL) • Good knowledge of agile development methods • Excellent analytical, design and writing skills • Very good knowledge of two official languages and good knowledge of English <br /> In a few words Are data your preferred field, and is precision your strong point?
