Temporary Prison Sentencing: Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF

We are looking for our client in the Bern/Seeland region in a prison per 01.07.2026 or by agreement an experienced, professionally competent and independent Dipl. nursing specialists (HF, DNII, Psych.). Requirements profile ## • Education with tertiary degree (AKP, DNII, HF nursing or psychiatry) • Several years of professional experience in the acute care sector (if possible in the field of emergency, internal medicine and/or psychiatry) • Great understanding for people from different cultural backgrounds who are in an exceptional life situation • Professionally and personally experienced personality who can also keep calm in hectic situations, maintain an overview and set targeted priorities • Very good knowledge of German and French or English (word) • Great social competence and team ability • Pronounced sense of proximity and distance • Good PC skills are a prerequisite Tasks ## • Care and treatment of somatically and/or mentally ill inmates from over forty nations • Initial clarifications in medical questions, emergencies, crisis interventions and organizing somatic and psychiatric doctor's visits • Initiating and organizing necessary hospital admissions • Care and accompaniment of inpatient withdrawals from legal and illegal substances • Close cooperation with doctors, specialist offices and security personnel • Medical documentation and writing reports General information ## Location: Region Bern / Seeland Region: Bern Employment level: 60% to 80% Employment type: Temporary Entry: 01.07.2026
