The Amt für öffentliche Sicherheit is responsible for the safety and protection of the population as well as the maintenance of the legal order. Its area includes policing and military affairs, civil protection, the Quartieramt, and the shooting range. The fire department is administratively assigned to the office. October 2026 or by arrangement as Jurist/in Amt für öffentliche Sicherheit (60%-80%) This is your job You advise the head of the office, the specialist departments of the Amt für öffentliche Sicherheit, as well as the commissions attached to the office on all legal issues, primarily in the field of public administrative law. You independently prepare complex factual and legal clarifications, review and prepare orders as well as contracts in the entire subject area of the office, process naturalization dossiers, accompany the drafting of municipal decrees (partly as a project manager) and other demanding projects with a legal connection, and prepare statements (on political motions) and consultations.
